With new entries on the low end and increased competition on the high end, now is a great time to upgrade to a graphics card. Today, the Radeon RX 7900 XT, AMD’s second highest GPU, is priced at $699, which is $200 off its original retail price. The Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 7900 XT reached this low price at a few retailers early this morning, but it is currently only available at Newegg and Walmart as it is quickly selling out. This drop in price may be due to Nvidia releasing new 40-series Super cards, such as the RTX 4070 Super and 4070 Ti Super. These cards have 12GB and 16GB of RAM, respectively, and while they have less RAM than the RX 7900 XT, they offer better ray tracing and super-sampling with DLSS. If you can’t find the Sapphire card at $699.99, there are other options available. Walmart is offering a PowerColor Hellhound version and Amazon has an XFX version, both priced similarly.
