Lag is a problem for PC gamers, with various ways to reduce it. Nvidia Reflex and AMD’s Radeon Anti-Lag+ tool are effective, but the latter mistakenly triggered Valve’s anti-cheat system, leading to player bans. AMD’s Frank Azor confirmed that Radeon Anti-Lag+ will be coming back soon. The tool injects proprietary files into games, but its return date is unknown. In the meantime, the less effective Anti-Lag is still available, but the competition between Nvidia and AMD for graphics card development is on hold until 2025.
