Microsoft has declared that the Mail app in Windows 11 will be discontinued, and as of 2024, PCs and laptops will only come with Outlook for Windows as the mail program. Users can customize the folder list to streamline email accounts and folders and improve the overview by hiding individual folders. Thunderbird prioritizes data protection and privacy, allowing users to control features such as the automatic reloading of images and acceptance of cookies from third-party providers.
