Intel has added 12 more games to its Intel Application Optimization technology, boosting framerates for popular games with supported processors. The update coincided with the Core i9-14900KS launch, offering up to 11 percent faster performance in games like Metro: Exodus.
Originally supporting only a few games, IAO now includes titles like World of Warcraft, Red Dead Redemption 2, Dirt 5, and F1:22. The technology is part of Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology (Intel DTT) and requires installation and enablement for operation.

IAO is validated for specific processors like the Core i7-14700HX, Core i9-14900HX, and Intel Core i9-14900K/KF/KS and Core i7-14700K/KF on desktop. For unsupported games, Advanced Mode allows users to enable the feature at their own risk.
While Intel plans to expand IAO support to more games and processors in the future, current users may see improved performance with existing high-end chips.
