HP’s Omen gaming monitor, the 32-inch OLED panel revealed at CES, could be a great fit for users who have multiple complex systems connected to the same screen. The Omen Transcend 32 is a 4K resolution, QD-OLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, covering 100 percent of the sRGB color range and 100 nits of peak brightness in HDR mode. It also includes multiple ports such as the latest DisplayPort 2.1, double HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with DisplayPort alt mode and 140 watts of power delivery. There are also two USB-A 3.2 ports and two USB-C 3.2 ports with 15 watts of power delivery.
With user-switchable inputs and an integrated KVM switch, as well as a picture-in-picture mode that allows you to view two screen activities simultaneously, the monitor offers flexibility as both a gaming and an office screen. The integrated software allows you to move your mouse and keyboard to the PIP area of your screen, making it easy to manage two machines at once. Despite being a mid-year release with no confirmed price, the Omen Transcend’s functionality makes it a potential choice for users with complex setup needs.
