The gaming PC can cost more than a game console, but gamers can save money on games if they wait for discounts. According to a survey from Ultra and Atomik Research, only 36 percent of PC gamers buy new games at full price. 32 percent wait for a sale or bundle, while another 32 percent obtain games for free through methods like the Epic Games Store. Despite 75 percent saying PC games are too expensive, indie games are more affordable. Ultra’s survey is promoting its digital store, but the best way to save money on PC games is to be patient and wait for discounts.
