Microsoft released its list of features in the next Moment update of Windows 11, with some new additions like Copilot control updates and using an Android phone as a webcam. These features will be available in the coming weeks through incremental updates. The February 2024 Moment update has been delayed, with new features expected to arrive during the March 2024 optional release for those who opt in. Most new features will be available by the April 2024 security update for all eligible devices.
Among the new features is the addition of Copilot Skills, plugins, shortcuts, and commands. These actions will roll out in late March, allowing users to control their PCs more efficiently. Copilot will also include new task-specific Copilots and plugins from various services. An AI-powered feature called Generative Erase has been added to Photos, allowing users to remove objects from photos intelligently. Voice Shortcuts and improved nearby sharing capabilities are also part of the new features.
Microsoft’s Moment update promises more AI-powered updates in the second half of 2024, making Windows 11 more efficient and user-friendly.
