Microsoft introduces an “Energy Saver” mode in the latest Windows 11 Insider 26002 builds, aimed at reducing energy consumption. This mode can be accessed through the Settings > Power menu and the Quick Settings menu (Win + A) for both laptops and desktops. It can also be set to apply automatically when a laptop battery reaches a certain level. The feature is separate from Efficiency Mode and may prove to be beneficial for both laptops and desktops. This addition is not yet confirmed for the general Windows 11 release, but it is expected to be a useful feature.
