The latest Adrenalin driver from AMD is a game-changer. It now supports the Radeon RX 7600 XT card, as well as new titles like Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Tekken 8. Plus, the company’s FPS-boosting Fluid Motion Frames technology is expanding to most recent cards, improving framerates in “any DirectX 11 and 12 game.” The interpolation technology, known as AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF), is designed to increase frame rates and smooth movement with minimal impact to image quality. This technology is available on any AMD card in the Radeon RX 6000 or 7000 family, mobile or desktop. The new driver claims to boost framerates by up to 103 percent with AFMF and FSR 2 enabled at Quality Mode. Additionally, the driver includes AMD’s video upscaling technology, which can enhance video quality up to 4K for common applications like Chrome, Edge, and Windows Media Player (only available on RX 7000 cards).
