Adobe has launched AI Assistant, a free conversational engine inside Adobe Reader and Acrobat, which allows users to ask questions instead of summarizing. Features include an AI assistant, summarization and citations, all governed by data security protocols, with plans to expand its AI tools to other file types and human-suggested markup comments. Adobe is planning to introduce an AI subscription for these features later on, but for now, it’s all free.
