AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3) has been available since September, but has not been widely adopted. Less than ten games currently support FSR 3, while Nvidia’s DLSS 3 is gaining more traction. The highly-anticipated game Nightingale begins its early access phase, but FSR 3 is notably absent due to crashes. Inflexion Games, the developer, has temporarily removed FSR due to significant crash data from the Server Stress Test. They hope to reintegrate it in a future update, possibly as an older version. Nvidia’s DLSS and Intel’s XeSS are both included in the early access launch of Nightingale. The game runs on Unreal Engine 5, a popular game engine for visually intensive games. AMD representatives have been contacted for further comment.
