The new Palit KalmX GeForce RTX 3050 6GB budget card features a passive cooling system and a DVI port, making it the most powerful GPU on the market without an integrated fan at the moment. The card is designed with a true dual-slot design and a length of just 166.3mm, making it popular among users with smaller PC cases. The 6GB card can run off the power from a PCIe motherboard slot alone, making it a popular choice for those looking to boost the graphical power of an aging desktop system. However, the KalmX card has the same drawbacks as other versions of the $169 3050 6GB, such as a lower CUDA core count, base clock speed, and a more narrow 96-bit memory bus versus the older 8GB version of the card. Palit has not announced a price or release date for the GeForce RTX 3050 KalmX 6GB.
