Visionary Displays: The Top 10 Monitors Unveiled at CES 2024

CES 2024 saw the unveiling of a range of impressive monitors, showcasing the best trends of 2023. Samsung and LG introduced a new generation of OLED panels with higher resolutions, refresh rates, and improved peak brightness in HDR. However, the show featured more than just expensive OLED gaming monitors. Acer unveiled a 57-inch super-ultrawide Mini-LED, MSI presented a practical 24-inch 4K office monitor, and Viewsonic showcased a 4K OLED portable display. These monitors truly stood out at CES 2024.

The Samsung Odyssey G80SD took the spotlight at the show with its 4K 240Hz QD-OLED panel, offering a sharp, stunning display. Equipped with a practical and professional look, the G80SD also features a great ergonomic stand and multiple ports. While pricing and availability are yet to be announced, it is expected to fall within the range of $1,000 to $1,300.

Moving on to practical options, the MSI Modern MD242UPW offers 4K resolution on a 24-inch monitor, making it a great choice for work-focused users. Packed with useful features including a USB-C port and built-in speakers, this monitor is tailored for productivity.

On the gaming front, the MSI MEG 321URX stands out with its 32-inch 4K 240Hz OLED display and unique AI features. Promising a personalized gaming experience, this monitor is set to make its debut in mid-2024.

Asus also introduced the ROG Swift OLED PG39WCDM, catering to gamers and professionals alike. With a USB-C port, KVM switch, and picture-in-picture modes, this monitor ticks all the boxes for versatility while delivering a top-notch visual experience.

Acer’s Predator Z57 takes a different approach with its 57-inch Mini-LED monitor, offering a resolution of 7680×2160 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Despite its large size, this monitor delivers excellent brightness in HDR games.

The Gigabyte Aorus FO32U2P showcases the world’s first DisplayPort 2.1 monitor, providing up to 80Gbps of bandwidth without the use of Display Stream Compression. This monitor offers unparalleled bandwidth and flexibility with daisy-chain connections.

Viewsonic’s XG272-2K-OLED stands out with its support for both AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync, as well as its modern design language and bundled remote control, making it an attractive option for gamers.

HP’s Omen Transcend 32 rounds off the selection, offering a stunning 32-inch, 4K, 240Hz QD-OLED panel with useful features geared towards content creation.
